Question about Sun casino

Can anyone tell me if the Players card on the Sun is the kind that you insert in the slot machines, like you do in Vegas? I noticed on the Dream some slot machine had places to insert the card but they weren't using that program there.

Its just like Vegas... insert in slots and gave to Pit Boss at tables...

The Players cards do get inserted into slot machines, or given to the dealer at the tables.

 

 

Doesn't work on the Dream...

The membership club is currently operating on the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun, and the Spirit, the Jewel, and will be on all new ships as they come into service.

I got my players club card on the Dream but it is soft paper.. May be I need to get a different type on the Sun.. This one doesn't have a magnetic strip or anything..

Hi -- I want to get a player's card when we sail on the Jewel in February. Can anyone tell me whether I should apply for it in advance of the trip or just get one once we're on board?

I would wait and get the players card on the ship. They had a promotion when we signed up for our cards on the STAR. They gave us an Ace to play at the black jack table, as well as a free spin pull with a chance to win a cruise, and some thing else as well.

 

I had a soft paper card with my number on it from the SEA, but they never really did anything with it. I through it out when I started the last card on the STAR.
