james'mommy Posted August 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2016 I think St Kitts has a zip lining place. I know one of the islands has one that has a contract with the cruise lines but will tell you their address and how much a cab should cost kind of a wink wink nudge nudge way to get around booking with the boat. Does anyone know the name?
TravelingAPor Posted August 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2016 We booked through Carnival and it was not cheap. The place is run by a bunch of very friendly people. We did 5 zip-lines and want them to add one more line. It is very safe & a once in a lifetime experience. Don't miss this, while you're in St.Kitts. :)

MIL really wants to do zip lining but has bad knees and wouldn't have been able to do any of the places we've done in the past. We may do it ourselves and our son and send the in laws to the beach. TravelingAPor Posted August 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2016 Not too many stairs and not too much walking. We booked with Carnival and it was a half day excursion. I was not informed there would be a bottle of water waiting for us, at the end, in the office. The Sky Safari crew are all friendly and safety conscious. Other places make you hike to the top, this place gives you a ride to the top. It is an open truck and you need to hang on because the road was very bumpy. This is perfect for the first time zipline experience.
Rare MVPinBoynton Posted August 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 29, 2016 We tried to book directly with them, since the Celebrity Eclipse doesn't list any zipline excursions for our itinerary. They still wouldn't let us book directly, so we can't zipline. Bummer!
TravelingAPor Posted August 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Really? That's too bad. I like booking it on the ship because you'll get a ride to the rain forest. You checked the website and they won't take your reservation? Unusual.

TravelingAPor Posted August 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Yes, that is possible. The operation is not big and there are only 5 zip lines. Save it for the next time you're on the island.

rthling Posted September 7, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2016 Unfortunately, they can't be booked independently of the ship. And the excursion is sold out. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
