San Pedro hotel question

We are driving to LA for IP Hawaiian cruise in Feb/06 and have narrowed our "Park & Cruise" choices to either the "Crowne Plaza" or "Holiday Inn" in San Pedro.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone that has stayed at either facility with info on these properties, especially about parking security, room/hotel staff, and efficiency of pre and post cruise shuttle services provided. Thanks. Jo

We are staying at the Crowne fromerly Sheraton next weekend prior to cruise.I will let you know when we return about rooms,shuttles and parking as we will be leaving our car there for the week we are cruising.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn last year. Not in the best area but hotel was fine. Rooms were huge. This year got Marina on priceline and a big mistake. Outside and location are great but inside needs work.

gtmerc, thanks for the input. We had read some reviews on the Marina, but hadn't put it in the mix, am glad now that we didn't consider it. Jo
