Public Transportation in Bar Harbour, ME, Halifax & St. Johns's NB

Any suggestions, such as HOHO transportation. Just off a 9 hours Boston to Cape Cod and at the end it was tedious & tiring. Want some flexibility. I remember on a NE/Canada thread about a Pink Bus. but can't remember which port of call. Thanks,

We have the pink busses as well which offer tours. I'd suggest taking the Harbour Hopper while you are here. It's not a hoho but a great land and sea tour of the Halifax port area.

I second the Harbour Hopper suggestion. We did this on our last time in Halifax and it was so much fun. The young woman guide knew SO much about Halifax and its history and knew a lot of the people around town who would wave at her as we passed by. And seeing the city from a small craft in the harbor is always a treat, totally different from seeing it as you come in or go out of the port on your big ship.

In Bar Harbor check Ollie"s Trolley. They have a great tour that goes to Acadia National Park. Just Google them for details on all their offerings. I have done the Acadia tour a couple times and enjoyed it.

Definitely take the hop on hop off Old Town Trolley in Boston and saw they have a HOHO in Portland Maine as well. We are going to the same places as you in October. We took a boring tour with a guide who talked down the USA and showed us all the colleges and quickly the gravesites of the Titanic victims from that area. We had to listen to another guide to get information about that site.
