LaQuinta Fort Lauderdale Airport

Has anyone stayed here? Any info would be appreciated--shuttle service to pier/from airport etc. I tried to do a search but this feature is currently disabled--thanks

We are staying there in October. Has a shuttle to and from the airport, and has a shuttle to the pier but none back to the hotel from the pier. We are doing pre and post, so we got a van to pick us up at the pier. We booked online at their website. $80 for the nite for 3. rich144...I stayed there last Sept pre and post cruise on the Zuiderdam. I loved it there. I also stay at the La Quinta in Tampa-Airport and it was great. There is a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. The rooms are big and comfy, nice recliner chair. The breakfast is complimentary, it is a cereal, yogurt, juice, muffin type breakfast. The grounds are nice, there is a pool and hot tub. You can also walk a bit and see a Home Depot, big box stores across the way. There are a few restaurants in the area.
The do have free shuttle service to/from the airport and to the pier. I didn't need shuttle service from the pier because I was going to another hotel (did a b to b).
I am booked to stay there pre and post cruise in Sept again this year. That's how much I enjoyed it there. The staff is very friendly as well.
I paid $80 Canadian a night. A good rate. I don't need fancy, just clean and enjoyable.
