Concierge Question

Is there a Concierge lounge on the Star? Also is Cagney's used for Breakfast etc. for the suites? My wife and I shall be on the Sept 14 sailing out of Copenhagen. Booked in March of 2015. :) Glad we have less than two weeks to go.

It's been over one year since we cruised the Star. When we went Cagney's was still being used. I do not remember about the lounge as the Concierge was always standing at the entrance to Cagney's for breakfast and lunch when we went to eat. My DH, DSS, and I stayed on the move this cruise so we did not do much relaxing inside the ship.

When we were on the Star, the Star Bar was used as the concierge lounge. And yes, Cagney's was the suite breakfast and lunch restaurant.

 

Has the Star Bar been changed on the Star yet? I think it was being turned into the Mojito Bar on several ships. No reason it couldn't still be used as the concierge lounge, though.

Suite breakfast and lunch is in Moderno which is across from Cagney's. And the Star Bar is now the Mojito Bar (or whatever it's called). But it's kind of like a sore thumb (with about 8 barstools) in the middle of Moderno tables in the evenings.

 

Can't speak to the concierge because he generally came to the villa at least once a day to make sure we were well taken care of.

Embarkation day lunch is in Cagneys, otherwise you're in Moderno.

 

Concierge technically has a desk next to the hostess desk between the two restaurants, and then takes over a bit of the Sugarcane bar. We basically never saw her in Sugarcane and could only catch her if we were lucky at breakfast - otherwise we just phoned.
