Tivoil and Villa d Este

What tour company have you used to Tivoil and Villa d'Este for a day tour.

Only one company keeps coming up and they don't have the day we want.

Can't find any others tour company's.

We went in July but we did not use a tour. We took the train from Rome (Tiburtina station) to Tivoli. I had googled how to get from Tivoli station to Hadrian's Villa and found a perfect set of directions. I don't know if I still have it. We took a bus to Hadrian's villa. We could walk from the train station to Villa D'este. In fact someone was very kind and showed us a shortcut on how to get there. The Villa D'este was amazing!

You don't need necessarily need a tour company. Easy enough taking train to Villa D'Este.

The Villa is well worth spending time in.

Time needed here at Villa D'Este would be between 90 and 2.25 hrs.

 

If you have a whole day in Tivoli go also to Villa Adriana.

 

A lot of waliing is reqd at the site.

 

Takes more study of local bus time tables. Or just grab a taxi from Tivoli.
