Can HMC purchases (drinks, equipment rental, souvenirs, massages, etc.) be charged to your shipboard account? Or must I use cash there?

Equipment rentals, massages, etc. are charged to your shipboard account and so are sodas and bottles of water. They do offer some refreshments (ice tea?) with the bbq lunch. Never ordered anything from the bar there so don't know if bar drinks are shipboard account or cash. The souvenir shops were cash, last time we were there

All HMC purchases will go on your shipboard account, as far as I know cash is not accepted anywere but the post office and for tips.

I'm not certain, but I think that the locals selling their handy crafts take cash. The large gift shop is run by the ship therefore charges go on your shipboard account as do drinks.

All drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, bottles of water and sodas are charged to your ship board account - and there will be a 15% gratuity added onto your bill. All massages are added onto your ship board account. Anything that you buy in HAL's big store is added onto your ship board account.

There are a few local vendors there selling crafts, spices, hair braiding, etc - all accept only cash.
