Marrekesh

Recommended Posts

We did this trip recently . It is a long day , left at 6.00 and back around 18.30 travel time each way about 4hrs including a comfort break . Time in Marrakech included lunch with entertainment, plus some free time , as well as a guided tour. Our guide was excellent, spoke perfect English, knowledgeable, and worked to ensure we got the most from the day, I suppose that made a big difference . Bus was modern and comfortable and Marrakech itself is a one off . The day we went we were just over the threshold in numbers for trip being done , this in fact was a bonus as we were a smaller group than is often the case on cruise excursions .You will get pestered to buy all kinds of things but no worse than many other places.Spoke to a few of the other passengers on the tour and feedback was positive but most like ourselves felt it was good to visit for a few hours but maybe not a destination for a weeks land based holiday. Having said that there were lots of tourists around. The Thomson excursion description is accurate and explains well what the day involves.
