kenzie Posted September 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2016 My husband and I frequent the tables, usually 3 card Poker a few hours every night of our cruise, our last B2B cruises on Princess resulted on us receiving letters on last day from host of $250 &$450 casino cash if we booked within a month-this was not a possibility for us but then later we booked a cruise for February and our TA came back to us and told us we had a casino discount of approx $200 each. We also did a cruise with NCL on Getaway last December, I did not realise that we may have had to register in casino for recognition, we are on Escape and Getaway next month- do we need to register -will NCL have a record of our casino spend as we always gave our card to dealer- I usually also get some casino cash awarded via Global Casino Operations based on our last play. Do NCL award casino cash or anything in recognition of our last cruise- anyone have an email address to contact re this if this is applicable
Casino Comp Chick Posted September 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) If you did not register for a casino card NCL has no way of tracking your play from last year. Stop by the promotions desk when you get onboard each cruise leg for a casino card, your Escape card will not work on the Getaway and vise versa. NCL does not give cash for playing outside of points played or tier up bonus's. If you bank 2500 you can have that applied to room charges. When you get onboard the 2nd cruse in addition to asking for a card, ask them to transfer your points from the 1st cruise which may take a few days to update. Attached is the website for CAS that explains all the tiers and contact information. To be eligible for a future comped cruise you must do 2700-2800 points per week. RegBarclay Posted September 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2016 If you always gave your card (room key or casino card works - no need to register for casino card in advance) to the dealer they will have a record of your play! Just call them (phone number in link from previous post) and ask what you can get for a future cruise. Be prepared to give them your latitudes number and a couple of cruises/dates you are interested in. Be aware that table play does not generate as many points as slot play. Chances are you did not reach 1,500 points each, or they would have approached you midcruise to hand you a drinks card... Since you both play, register with casino services next time and ask them to combine your points - only one of you needs to be eligible for a free cruise anyway. They will not combine tier points, those always remain on the person who earned them, only redemption points BUT when you call for discount/comp you can ask they look at both latitude numbers in determining comp/discount level.
