Anthem-heated pools?

We were on the Brilliance last March and the solarium pool was heated. It was so nice and warm.

Now we are going on the Anthem in October and I was wondering if any of the pools will be heated?

Also are any of the pools salt water? Mostly interested in the indoor pool and the solarium pool.

We were on the Anthem 2 months ago, no they're not heated and yes they are fresh water. If you wanted to get wet in the cold months we saw people crowded in the hot tubs.

Two months ago was during the middle of summer, so perhaps the pools were not heated then. We sailed on Anthem, and Quantum, in January of 2014 and 2015, and the two enclosed pools were definitely heated. I have no idea if the outdoor pool was heated.

We were on the Anthem in January (yup one of those cruises that turned into an extra day at sea thanks to storms in the Atlantic which are customary in the winter time) The pools were empty because they aren't heated even in the winter, except the hot tubs of course which was a big attraction for those who wanted to just get wet.

Although after three days out heading south the pools began to be used by those who didn't mind pool water in the high 60's.

Sailed Anthem in November, pools were chilly. But bearable. Hot tubs are very large and plentiful. Especially in the non solarium indoor pool area. Solarium hot tubs are very popular, nice view and all.

For the paltry cost it would be, I really don't know why Royal Caribbean don't heat their pools (different warmth for indoor/outdoor and climate at the times of sailing etc.) to make them comfortable for people to use
