Ocean view Cabins-First floor and noise

HI everyone; Have a future booking question.

For the Carnival Magic, they have a ocean view cabin on the first floor all the way in the back rear. Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms, how is the noise level? I don't get motion sickness, so that's not a concern. I stayed on the first floor on Victory and the noise was horrible and I couldn't ever sleep. Any help would be appreciated

I love it back there but it's because of the noise and vibrations. If you need it quiet, you will hate it. I would expect it to be similar to what you experienced on the Victory. But I like the constant noise as opposed to quiet and then hearing someone out in the hallway. That wakes me up.

We got off the Magic on Aug.27, had cabin 2499 all the way in the back. We loved it and it was quiet with the exception of when the ship was docking. The thrusters made a lot of noise and vibration. This was only one morning and we were up and about already so no big deal. Love the lower levels they are closer to the water and they cost less. Happy cruising.

I enjoy the lower decks on the Magic. People were getting off at one of the Islands and there was a line all down Rivera . We were in no hurry to get off the ship these days so we headed to the elevators to grab a cup of java and let the crowd debark We were reminded by a friendly cruiser that decided to shout out to others that we had " cheap seats ". She reminded us and the crowd several times by shouting cheap seats coming through, cheap seats .

People never cease to amaze me.

Our next cruise, next week :D : we have a deck 1 Ocean view booked. It's more mid ship than aft. We've never had an OV, but were trying to budget... so we will see how we like it.

This!!! I too am trying to budget so I can't afford a Balcony and I always do an interior. So I'm gonna try it.
