Snorkeling At A Beach

I am looking for a beach we can taxi to and snorkel from without a guide, not looking for an all day tour group.

Any suggestions?

A lot of people go to South Friars Beach and snorkel near Shipwreck Beach Bar on the south end of the beach (to your left when facing the Caribbean Sea). The taxi from the port area should run about $15 each way for a group of 4 sharing the taxi.
