Butlers and Concierge currently on the Jewel?

I know that there is a thread for this....but after going through pages and pages I could not find anything regarding the Jewel.

We are booked for 10/2/16 and are just curious as to who will be in the position of butlers and Concierge for the trip. And we know that it will probably be just fine whoever it is....but we have a lot of old friends that we have sailed with this past year and wonder if any of them will be on board with us.

We stayed in an Owners Suite the first week of August. We had Ronald as our butler and Karen was the concierge. Very impressed with both.

We are sailing on NCL for the first time in November. We are staying in a 2 bedroom suite. Is there one Concierge for all the suite or numerous? Also, do you know how many suites each butler is responsible for?

Thanks!!

One concierge and I believe 5 butlers on the Jewel.

We were on the Jewel last month in a mini-suite that connected to my parent's two bedroom suite. Roland was the butler. When he found out that we were all traveling together he said, 'then I offer my service to you and your wife as well.' He got us invited to to the VIP glacier watching party in the Haven, made sure we got Priority luggage tags and escorted off the boat on disembarkation day, and got us into breakfast in Moderno with my parents. He really went above and beyond.

That is so nice. Were your parents in a 2 bedroom in the Haven or on deck 11? We are booked in a 2 bedroom suite on Deck 11 (non-Haven) and my 87 year old MIL is in a mini suite a few door down (the one attached was already occupied). I am hoping she will be able to disembark with us. So the breakfasts are in Moderno (not Cagney's)? I wonder if they will let her join us?

I think there are like 48 suites on the Jewel. If there really are only 5 Butlers, isn't that a lot of people they are helping? I am assuming the Haven have their own Butlers or do the 5 Butlers have to help all the suites on Deck 11 plus the ones in the Haven?

We are new to NCL so I really don't know anything :D:D:D

Thanks!

We were on deck 11. 11012 and 11014. The disembarkation together should be no problem. They don't like to split up family groups. Breakfast for the suite passengers is in Moderno on the Jewel. We sailed on the Pearl in 2014 and then it was in Cagney's. They did extend the breakfast to us, but we only joined my parents on one day. My recommendation is that on embarkation day when the butler comes by to introduce themselves have your MIL there with you and let him know that you are traveling together.

We just upgraded to the Haven for 9/27 12-day & it will be our 1st time there, although we have stayed in suites before on other ships. We want to be respectful of the service given by the butler & concierge & would appreciate tipping info. Thanks so much.
