Cab From San Pedro To LAX

We got off the Sapphire Princess Saturday the 29th of October. We walked off the ship and caught a cab. The cab fare was 42.22 plus tip and took less than a half hour.

What time did you actually get off the ship and what time was your flight? I'm trying to gauge how long it might take us to do this in April, we have a noon flight out of Long Beach (smaller airport, less hassle then LAX).

I think we got off the ship at about 8:30. There was a line going through customs but it moved pretty fast. We then found our luggage right away. We also had a noon flight and probably would have been able to get a earlier flight but at least this way we were able to relax. We were not running for a plane or miss it completely.

I wonder how much fare it would have been to Long Beach instead of LAX? I would rather fly JetBlue back to Boston.

I've been hearing taxi fare from San Pedro pier to Long Beach airport is in the neighborhood of $30-$35. Of course, it all depends on traffic.
