Host Caroline Posted October 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2005 We've changed the amenities for this group!!!! --- had some comments about the casino vouchers so Kevin and Crucon came through after using all my feminine wiles (which I swear I thought I left in Jamaica) and minimal groveling and we have substituted the $125 in casino vouchers per cabin for: ::drum roll please....:: Dinner for 2 at one of the specialty restaurants (Chops or Portofino!) Group Cocktail party $10 casino voucher per cabin. Cruise Critic Lanyards (or similar) (One per person) Cruise Critic Magnets (or similar) (One per stateroom> 15% Discount on all other Cruise Critic Logowear So anyone who's "game" can join our tres expensive slot pull (each cabin will use their $10 in quarter tokens) to see who wins big and wins enough to pay for the cruise!! And still, of course, a prize for THE BIGGEST LOSER  Just follow the links below to our group page for pricing and get on board.. (the great pumpkin brought us a nice treat this year);)

nascarfans_wny Posted November 3, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2005 Caroline: Last week a few of us brought "gifts" from our hometowns to raffle off at the Meet & Mingle -- they were a nice addition to the RCI ID holders provided at the M & M. Kathy and I brought a bottle of Hazlitt wine from the NY Finger Lakes region, and there were about a half dozen CCer "prizes" total -- wish there had been more, it was fun. We had 76 signed up for the M & M -- don't know how many actually attended, but the RCI "helpers" were VERY impressed with our turnout (they often only see a half dozen CCers at an M & M). We ate at Portofino at 9pm on our San Juan day, which gave us plenty of time to do our excursion and eventually get "all gussied up" for our special dinner. We thought it was awesome. The shrimp risotto was amazing, as was the "deconstructed" flourless chocolate cake (and everything else ! :D ). It's a definite "don't miss". Host Caroline Posted November 3, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted November 3, 2005 "Red Cat".. interesting name for wine???? Do they have a website??? I do trivia with prizes or a raffle or something on my groups even if we have M&M or whatever.. although on Explorer it's going to be a little different.. just haven't figured out what yet... but then I have 13 months to do it ...from today exactly... I did find a drink named "Caroline's Treat" so that will definitely be on the bar for my cabin party:D
nascarfans_wny Posted November 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted November 4, 2005 Of course it was Red Cat ! It's the world's best wine for pizza, and very different from most other wines. Check them out at "http://www.hazlitt1852.com/".
