children at formal nights

Sure they do! And yes, most of them dress according to the dress code, and they look adorable all dolled up for the evening. Seems to make them feel very special.

Yes, they should attend formal night-- But only you know if your child can handle it.

 

A great thing about dressing the hwole family up for formal nights is getting the family photos taken before dinner. Makes great soverniers.

 

I have always taken my kids to formal nights. they loved getting dressed up and venturing to get photos taken -then eating together as a family. (granted my kids were older...lOL

On our last cruise there was a 10 year old boy next door to us and he wanted to wear his tux every night! He was absolutely adorable.

Yes! The kids are so cute all dressed up.

 

If you think it might be a bit too much for your child, you do have the option of feeding them earlier and having them attend the kids club activities instead. Sometimes the kids programs even have a special dinner for the kids. Like the above poster mentioned, you know your child best.
