Carnival ball dress code?

I notice on our Nov 5th cruise, one of the formal evenings is Carnival ball - anyone any tips on just what the dress code for this is as I love dressing up. Looking forward to the Royal Ascot evening too.

In my experience most people will be in standard formal attire on theme nights.......some ladies wear hats/fascinators on Ascot Night, there are some masks for the masquerade ball but definitely the minority.

I haven't been on board for a Carnival night, I'm thinking Rio......maybe ladies in colourful gowns

If you enjoy dressing up then definitely do - there will be plenty enough people

that do

Jirage,

This page from "ask.cunard.com" describes the suggested attire for the various Cunard themed nights.

Do you have theme nights on board?

The suggested attire for the Carnival ball is listed as follows.

Formal Wear

Gentlemen
– Flamboyant and brightly coloured ties or shirts

Ladies
– Elaborate and brightly coloured dresses

Regards,

John

Do! Seriously, there will be a huge variety of dresses on all nights..........

I promise you you won't be overdressed .

I'll be the one who wears a (different) black dress for all events :-)
