Piano bar, etc on Majesty of the Seas

How many bars are there on the Majesty (piano, etc)? What do you do if you aren't big drinkers or would prefer to not to drink at all but would like to enjoy the music (or kareoke or whatever) is going on in the lounge? Do folks ever go in & just sit? Or maybe order a diet coke or something but not alcohol? Haven't really explored this entertainment on past cruises but would like to know proper protocal. Thanks in advance.

It's absolutely ok to go sit, and enjoy, even participate(sing along) in any of the venues. The schooner bar is usually the piano bar, but I haven't done majesty since the refurb.

The piano bar was in the Schooner on Majesty 2 weeks ago.

Karaoke was in Boleros along with regular bands.

There is no requirement to drink anything in any entertainment venue including areas like Boleros or the Schooner Bar on RCI ships. A member of the staff will stop by and ask if you want a drink. If you don't they will place a napkin on the table to show that you have already been asked about service.

 

I have seen many people come into such areas just to see the entertainment and then leave.

Yes can go and just sit. No need to order. But maybe an order of soda may elicit a smile from the waiter

Thanks for the feedback. Will probably go with the idea of ordering a diet coke just to have something in front of me.
