Halloween on board

We will be on the Empress on Halloween. Does anyone know if there would be costume parties or events?

People on our roll call plan on dressing up and some plan to hand out candy!

We have been on four Halloween cruises. Always saw pepole, including ourselves, dressed up, and some sort of party or parade.. Handing out candy is a cool idea, but I am sure that parents might be leery about kids accepting candy on a ship, from a stranger..

Thanks. Now a days we don't even know our neighbors so still strangers at home! Doubt many kids will be on board. Would love a costume party!

We also have been on several Halloween cruises. Many do dress up and are quite creative, but as for a parade or contest, we never saw that. Now maybe the newer, larger ships??

I know on Enchantment last year they did a modified version of the 70's night act on Halloween. During it they brought up various guests that costumes were really over the top.

 

Found several YouTube videos of parades down the Promenade.

We were on Enchantment last year over Halloween and lots of people (including us) dressed up. It was tons of fun. We'll be with you on Empress this year and plan to dress up again. :)

We love dressing up for Halloween whether there will be a parade or not. Wish we could join you but this year we are doing a Thanksgiving cruise.

 

Speaking of dressing up, when we did our South American Cruise , everyone was dressed to cross the equator, and we managed to "get the Captain" into the slop pool as it was his first time. :D So much fun!

I couldn't resist the idea of being on Freedom's last sailing from Port Canaveral.

 

Another plus was it being a Halloween sailing.

We have been on cruises during Halloween and not only a parade of cruisers wearing costumes but also a costume contest. We one first prize on the Explorer a few years ago. Going on the Harmony TA and have our costumes.
