Booking Miami Hotels on Priceline

Are there any recommendations for which areas of Miami to bid for when booking on Priceline? We will be flying in the day before for our Jan. cruise. Convenience and accessibility would be key -- ie transfers/taxis from airport to hotel and hotel to port; close to shopping for last minute items such as bottled water, beach toys etc. Tourist attractions nearby would be a bonus. Thanks.

We found all the info you are looking for on http://www.biddingfortravel.com

There is a great section on Miami, and what areas to bid on..... and what your other options are.

We bid a 3* downtown for 49.00 and got the Doubletree. It was a fine hotel for our one night stay.

Good Luck!

Catrin
