Verizon Cell Phone in St Thomas

Anyone here have recent info about using Verizon cell coverage in St Thomas USVI? I've tried Verizon and seem to be on terminal hold. I know I won't have 4G, but will i have 3G and texting?

 

ATT works great in the USVI, but ATT doesn't work here, so I can't change carriers.

It is considered part of your domestic plan. Not sure about 3G or 4G but you will have one of them & text.

Spent a week in STT in August. We had 3 Verizon phones with us. There is no 4G but we used the phone without extra charge. Data, text, and a call. Some places had poor coverage 1x and no data. Be aware that on St. John my phone hit a BVI tower I got the msg about extra charges.
