duty free onboard, another try!

We found the duty free liquor on Princess to be a fair bit more expensive that the shore outlets. I think that Martinique was the best deal for us but as I recall we used cash because if we paid with credit card they charged us in Euros which after exchange, was considerably higher than the cash price. The on board selection was not very good either but then again they do not have as much room for inventory.

We have found them to be about the same in the South Pacific on Princess ships, just as any other sailings. Just remember, if you buy cigarettes you will not be able to get them until the last night onboard. So plan accordingly. The only way to buy them during the cruise is by the pack at the bars, and the types they offer are very very limited.
