hummer2407 Posted September 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2016 I was considering upgrading to the Yacht Club but I cant be guaranteed a balcony. What percentage of Yacht Club rooms have a balcony? I really hate giving up my balcony. I cant walk well and would love to be able to eat in my room. Will they serve me dinner in my room? Not room service, but a real meal.
stealthy Posted September 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2016 All current MSC YC have balconys. Only the new builds have inside YC cabins. I pretty sure it's only room service from the room service menu not dinner but it may of changed?
Rare Beamafar Posted September 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2016 (edited) All current MSC YC have balconys. No they don't! Currently there are 3 YC cabins on deck 12 with panoramic views only. They are known as YC2 and are actually very popular with some due to the extra space. Perhaps you could request a cabin for those with mobility problems. They have balconies. I believe you need some medical evidence that you qualify for one. Room service is limited to soup/sandwiches/fruit and cold meat with cheese platters, though in exceptional circumstances e.g. if you're ill, MDR meals can be arranged to your cabin.
