kadikale Posted October 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Looking at pre cruise hotel for 2 nights on a Thurs & Fri night towards end of September 2017. Stayed at South Beach previously but wanted to stay close to POM on this occasion. Had wanted Hampton Inn Brickell but getting no availability. Looked at Homewood Suites too which is in price range but pool is completely covered which is unsuitable. Looking to spend no more than $350 in total for both nights and free breakfast would be good. Any suggestions of alternative hotels? Sent from my SM-G900F using Forums mobile app
JohninDC Posted October 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Check the Doubletree or next door Marriott. Both offer some rooms with a view of the port, and the pool at the Doubletree is fabulous.
nibbler 1 Posted October 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2016 check out the YVE in downtown. Just been remodeled and was reasonably priced. Right across the street from Bayside Market. We Just asked about the Breakfast and they gave it to us. Plus they have a free cocktail from 5-7. The other place I suggest is the Hampton Inn in Southbeach. It was the best hotel and the most convient we have stayed at in SB. Free breakfast, cookies and coffee and water all day. Only a block from Lincoln road and about 3 blocks from Ocean drive and the beach is across the street, and a nice rooftop pool. It was only $169 a night through truvago, and for SB that's cheap. Plus extremely clean and free wifi and business center. We have stayed there 3-4 times and will be staying again in Nov. Good luck.
kadikale Posted October 2, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Unfortunately YVE doesn't have a pool and neither Hampton Inn South Beach or one at Brickell showing availability. Sent from my SM-G900F using Forums mobile app
