MLW070 Posted October 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Just curios if Carnival allows one to bring their Yeti Tumblers onboard to use for the Bottomless Bubbles Package. They are awesome to keep your drink cold but uncertain if should pack. Thanks!
Kevin Posted October 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I don't see why not. I doubt they will put your purchased drink directly into the cup for sanitary reasons.
KatiHNelson Posted October 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2016 :DI'm bringing a few with me, and some dawn to wash them in the sink. Its my understanding from a bottomless thread that they will put your drink into your glass so sometimes you score a bit extra. The worst that's going to happen is they tell you no, and I am firm believer in better to be looking at it than looking for it
ray98 Posted October 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Sure. They normally still serve it in a clean cup and you just transfer it.
pcvtmom Posted October 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2016 So long as you board with it empty, no problem! We usually take our BIG cups with us.
evandbob Posted October 3, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Yes you can bring a Yeti Cup on board. There was a thread recently from a poster who complained that someone stole theirs, so maybe keep it in eyesight? Also, not only won't the bartenders fill it directly, you shouldn't either, except at one of the designated water filling stations. Anyone who uses a personal cup under a public juice or water dispenser can cause that station to be closed for sterilization protocol.
kilmer17 Posted October 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Last cruise I took a Yeti and a Tervis. I used the Yeti day one, but it got super hot in the sun. So I used the Tervis the rest of the week.
TullMan Posted October 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2016 We took HydroFlask thermal cups for coffee and ice water on excursions. Security may check for alcohol or have you empty the cups. Take them.
Rare Captain Funtime Posted October 3, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Yeti clones at Sam's Club are 2 for $20 and they work every bit the same.
drgonzogoo Posted October 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I used an RTIC last cruise and it worked GREAT!! I got the handle for mine, i made a big drink before i left my cabin and it was super cold, even in the sun on the balcony! I think i packed it in my carry-on. paper1122 Posted October 3, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 3, 2016 In the past I've always taken a Tervis. There has never been an issue. I've never had bottomless bubbles so I can't comment on them filling it up.
bamagirl16 Posted October 3, 2016 #12 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I took mine on our last cruise. Like others have said they probably will not pour directly in to your cup but you can pour it in after you have gotten your drink.

They are amazing.
Rosefloater Posted October 4, 2016 #14 Share Posted October 4, 2016 Yeti clones at Sam's Club are 2 for $20 and they work every bit the same. That's for the 30 oz. The 20 oz is less than $8. My local Walmart just started stocking the 30 oz. I had to order the 20 oz online for store pickup.
PattBenatar Posted October 4, 2016 #15 Share Posted October 4, 2016 Just ask the bartender to hold the ice. Fill the tumbler with ice before you get the soda and BOOM instant cold for the day. Pour the soda into the cup and you are golden.
