Riviera Deck -- Pros and Cons?

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Riviera Deck (near the back) to the Mexican Riviera in February.

I thought it would be good because you only have to go a short distance to the bar and pools.

What about the verandas? Are they smaller/larger/the same as other decks?

Any comments from anyone who has actually stayed on the Riviera Deck?

Hi cezovski - We are on the Dawn Princess Mexican Riviera cruise in December and are on the Riviera deck. We have stayed on this deck on the Sun Princess (sister to the Dawn) and really liked it. It's convenient to the elevators and Riviera pool and bar and and we didn't notice any noise from the venues above. Hope this helps.

We had a balcony cabin on the Riviera Deck on the Dawn a few years ago. It was the perfect location. On this class of ship, one balcony is about as good as the next as they don't change in size from one deck to the next.

It is a great location, and close to everything.
