Using magnets on our Dream cabin door...

I'm pretty sure the doors are metal and that magnets will attach to them, but just to verify, can anyone confirm this for Dream.

I cannot verify the hallway door, but I had magnetic hooks hanging on the bathroom door, so I believe the outer would be the same.

They are most definitely metal and a magnet will hold nicely. A word of caution though if you plan to hang something on the door. Several of us on the recent sailing of the Dream had their door decorations stolen in the middle of the night. :confused:

When reported was told there are no security cameras in the hallway, which seems problematic to me, (but that is another discussion) so there was no way to see who did it. Happy cruising.

They are metal. And we were on the 9/15 Disney Dream sailing and one of our four magnets were stolen.

 

That was our second Dream cruise - the first we had 3 rooms with magnets and they were fine. This last one we had 1 room and had one stolen. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Glad to know the Freedom isn't. I was planning to use magnets when we go in March but I will have to change my plans.
