What was the best wine or champagne you purchased from the fun shop even though you could have purchased it cheaper from your favorite store?

If you like dry reds, then we like the Cline Zinfandel. It's much less at our state liquor store, but it's roughly the same price we pay for a bottle in a restaurant ($29 vs. the $33.25 Carnival charges).

Cline Zin is like $12 in our local liquor store. The OP asked what's the best. The carry Dom Perignon which you can get for 1/2 price in the Steakhouse on the first night.
