Internet speed on NCL Epic??

Only 52 days away from our 2nd NCL cruise, and so excited. Cruised last year on the Getaway and did not take advantages of taking in an internet packaging. Considering taking advantage of the internet packages on the Epic. Anyone know how fast (or slow) the internet is on this ship? Thanks

Think dial-up speeds.

 

I don't mean mean 56k , because that wasn't as bad.

Was on the Epic last week and had the internet package as a freebie. I wasn't able to connect at all times and speed could be better but it was good enough for my needs and I was able to keep in touch with the kids at home.

 

I guess it all depends on how patient you are and why you need it but personally I was pleased to have it.
