I'm not certain about the stores, but I can highly recommend The Boatyard for some fun beach time, and Lobster Alive next door for a great lunch. Only about a three minute ride from the cruise docks, and they both have websites if you want to check it out.

We were in Bridgetown last year on a Sunday and enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the waterfront into town.

The city was very quiet indeed but we really enjoyed just walking around the city, visiting their beautiful parks and enjoying coffee at one of the few restaurants that were open. Many locals attend church and its fascinating to watch. The women are beautifully dressed in Caribbean colours for Sunday service.
