Question about Reflection Western Caribbean Itinerary

I am wondering with the devastation in Haiti, will the Reflection Western Caribbean with a stop at Labadee be likely to still stop? I understand the economy could certainly use the business, but it the Cholera continues to be a problem, would they change ports or just skip a port?

 

It is an awful situation for the people of Haiti.

When they had the earthquake a few years ago the ship was used to bring supplies.

We have seen posts on the board and it sounds like Labadee was spared from damage. It is sad that they have to go through that as poor of a country that it is. Have a great cruise.

It is an awful situation for the people of Haiti.

 

Labadee is not like a regular port stop in a country. It is a totally 'walled' :rolleyes: off area with gun carrying guards keeping local out.

It is a totally private beach just for passengers of RCCL owned ships. The Co provides for the workers to insure we are not exposed to the problems found in the rest of the Country.

 

You can not go outside the compound and 'visit' the cities nor country side.
