Dawn forward cabin

We just got off the Dawn. We were in a forward OA ocean view picture window 8010. We usually pick mid or aft balconys but this was assigned to us by casino at sea. We had pretty bad seas on day 2 and day 5 due to hurricane Nicole and Matthew. You can really feel it this far forward and the waves crashing on the hull sounded like a sledge hammer in our cabin. The bed was rocking so hard we could not sleep. When we did finally fall asleep the bash of the waves hitting the ship woke us up every ten minutes or so. Do not book one of these cabins. When we docked in Boston the noise from the thrusters shook the cabin at 6 am. This is the first time we had that wake up call in all cruises taken.

We loved our forward facing balcony on the Dawn last month. Do you avoid The front of the ship in the event that you sail through two hurricanes?

We leave on 11/11/16 and are in a forward balcony cabin. What cabin were you in as I am curious after the comment of the OP? I love the movement of the ship, it's the noise I'm concerned with.
