gqboy1 Posted October 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Hello, I was browsing on RCI's website and came across My Family Time Dining (http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/experiencetypes/product.do?pagename=onboard_prod_my_family_time_dining). This might be appealing for our family. Has anyone ever used this? How does this differ from MTD? What time does the evening's Adventure Ocean activity go until? mollyeilis Posted October 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2016 For us it meant dining at 5:30. At a certain time there are employees who come to the entrance to one of the dining rooms to get the kids. But kids could just go later; there's no special thing happening with the kids who are escorted. AO has always seemed to go to about 11 on out cruises if I'm remembering right. nolesrule Posted October 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2016 The Adventure Ocean evening session is 7pm to 10pm. You can pay extra by the hour for the kids to stay later.

nolesrule Posted October 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 21, 2016 You pretty much need to be signed up for early seating or My Time Dining that's as early as early seating. We've done it both ways both. You can ask the Adventure Ocean staff about when they will have someone there for pickup (they may require day-by-day signup), usually on a specific floor in the lobby outside the MDR. At the appointed time you would take the kid(s) to meet the staff (usually around 6:45). You may need to request the waiter expedite the children's meals so that they are done eating in time. Otherwise the food comes out too slow and the kids end up rushing. Another thing to keep an eye out for is if they do Adventure Dining, where the children have dinner at Adventure Ocean. Sometimes a nice quiet meal without the kids at all can be enjoyable. :)
