Best Western/ St. Charles

Has anyone stayed here? How about from airport to motel, I guess same rates to other in area. Then to pier is taxi the best. 4 people.

Usually stay at Hilton Riverside but rates are triple the BW and double what we paid before. Sept. 2017

I have never stayed there, but it is a good ways from the CBD or FQ, if that is important to you.

 

Not sure about the cab prices, as the airport website on mentions CBD and FQ. Taxi will be easiest to the port.

I have never stayed there but the attached restaurant is pretty good. Nice location.

Stayed there 6 years ago. It was decent, breakfast good and rooms clean. But taxi to port was higher than expected (can't remember exact price) and it has a trolley stop in front. However they were always packed. Next time we spend same money and stay in the French Market,

I stay at this hotel every year for the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Parade in March. It is a nice hotel. It is also on the St. Charles Streetcar route.

The restaurant next door is called Superior Grill. They do have a great hamburger.
