NHCRUISIN Posted October 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2016 First time with suite accommodations, I know our main dining room is Luminae, if we wanted to do a specialty restaurant is there a charge for this and if so do you get a discount by being in a suite? CHEZMARYLOU Posted October 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2016 If you are in a Royal Suite or higher you get free specialty dining. Otherwise you have to pay, unless you booked before January 1, 2016. If you did book prior to this date you get 1 or 2 nights free depending on the length of the cruise. There are often discounts available, especially on the 1st night. Don't be shy about asking for one.
NCHPcruiser Posted October 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2016 If you plan on having dinner multiple nights in a specialty restaurant you can purchase a specialty dining package. In our case (13 night cruise) we purchased a 4 night package for $120. We purchased it in the terminal prior to boarding. We also had 2 specialty dinners as a perk. Chunky2219 Posted October 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2016 If you are not in RS or PS and don't get any freebies as part of your package, always, always go and negotiate. You've nothing to lose and as often as not they'll do you a deal. .
