Ocean Boy Posted October 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2016 I was looking at possibly getting a late fall cruise in on Allure. When looking at RCI's website I found that three of Allure's eastern itinerary sailings have been changed to western. The sailings are still listed as eastern but the info about the change comes up when you choose a cabin category. This is for the Nov 13, Nov 27, and Dec 11 sailings. Any idea why Allure is being sent west? I had not read about any changes here on the boards. Maybe I just missed the threads but it would seem that if passengers were notified about the changes that someone would have posted here. I don't really want to do the western route so I guess Allure is out.
Ocean Boy Posted October 22, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) Never mind. Now when I logged back into RCI's website the sailings are coming up normally as eastern sailings but the pricing has gone up. Their IT department is the best. Edited October 22, 2016 by Ocean Boy

Thankfully it is still a Western.:)

It alternates between east and west every other week. You are going to scare the pants off people reading your post. Bill
jamesr3939 Posted October 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2016 Our Allure did change after we booked in January for our upcoming (8 days) cruise. Originally we were doing eastern and then they changed it to western. I got no notice just happen to notice it on the www site. Granted they changed it shortly after we booked. But still we really wanted to do Labadee, which was lost. We weren't to upset as we gained Nassau and had just been there on a Carnival cruise; with a great time at the Atlantis. So other than Labadee being basically a "free port" and Nassau being "high cost" it wasn't anything worth canceling. The cruise lines can always make changes to the itinerary. For awhile today the website was messed up. Dec 11 was listed as eastern and when I would click on it it said it was changed to western. Now it comes up as western. I am not trying to scare the pants off of anyone/:rolleyes:
