Confusion Over "Share the Wealth" Program

Has anybody else had any difficulties with Princess over use of the share the wealth cards? There seem to be a few issues with it. One, previously mentioned, is that the card has to be mailed in to Princess in order for the referral to get the benefits. The booking numbers of both the referrer and the referral, as well as their names, have to be included on the card. How on earth is the referral supposed to get the reduced deposit of $200 when the card has to be mailed in AFTER the booking is made. Doesn't seem logical.

 

My TA called Princess (twice, at my reques) and each time was told that the referral does NOT get the reduced deposit amount, but does get the on-board credits. Of course, the card clearly indicates that the referral does get the reduced deposit.

 

Perhaps Princess needs to improve its communication to its representatives.
