DJLDRUMS Posted May 30, 2017 #126 Share Posted May 30, 2017 And finally, does this work if I'm on a different class RCI ship ?
csaeroach Posted May 30, 2017 #127 Share Posted May 30, 2017 No way of knowing for sure (unless someone has stayed in these rooms) as there are no connecting cabins in that block of cabins. If I had to guess I would say that 12629 has the bed by the balcony and 631 has the bed by the bath. I say this because there are an even number of cabins in that block so they should still be in paired sets. Thank you! 😊
DJLDRUMS Posted May 31, 2017 #128 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Ok, does this explanation sound right in trying to determine if the bed is facing forward or backward in an Oceanview or Balcony. A cabin attendant on the Navigator said that if you look at the plumbing access panel doors in the hallway, when you see the access panel door on the right it means that the bathroom is on that side followed by the bed on the same side. That will tell you if the bed is facing forward or backward on the ship using the Navigator as the example. Looking at the plumbing access doors the one on the left means the bed is on that side and the bed is facing forward, if the plumbing access door is on the right the bed is facing backwards. We always get an Inside Promenade, an Oceanview or an outfacing Balcony, Clarea, Ourfavoritebeach does that sound right to you, or anyone else? Thanks in advance. Clarea Posted May 31, 2017 #129 Share Posted May 31, 2017 And finally, does this work if I'm on a different class RCI ship ? I'm only sure about Oasis class.
Ken at the beach Posted May 31, 2017 #130 Share Posted May 31, 2017 And finally, does this work if I'm on a different class RCI ship ? The only other class that there is a pattern for besides Oasis class is the Quantum class. I believe that the pattern is opposite that of Oasis class. On Oasis class, Port side, cabins with the bed by the balcony the bed will face aft and cabins with the bed by the bath the beds will face forward. Starboard side is the opposite.
