drgonzogoo Posted October 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2016 If he has a tux, I say GO FOR IT! It really classes the place up. We are doing a NYE cruise next year and I am planning on buying a tux just for the occassion! It certainly wouldnt hurt. We saw 2 gentlemen wearing tux's in the MDR on our cruise last April. coevan Posted October 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2016 A Tux is very rare on CCL. I do not even bring a sports jackets anymore. After dinner for the NYE party, everyone was back in shorts and t-shirts.

burg4112 Posted October 28, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 28, 2016 We are doing the NYE cruise on Triumph and we are dressing up. I'm wearing a nice suit and my wife has a really cute dress, I figure if no one else wants to that's fine.

Ready2Cruise1976 Posted October 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 30, 2016 We were on the Valor in 2015 and hardly anyone was in a tux. There was a wide range of dress from shorts and tee shirts to suits and evening gowns. It was a great time. There was a party on the Lido deck to welcome in the New Year with free champagne to everyone. Unfortunately I was sick however my husband had a great time ringing in the new year with our friends.
