To each his own, but we would have jumped at the suite. The extra square footage in the cabin and all the extra storage makes it valuable to us. We also spend alot of time in the cabin. We have found over the years that the better the cabin the more time you spend in it.

The GS is great, but having cruised many times in a GS and OS, you made a good decision staying in the balcony. Having gotten over my snobby inclinations, I feel much better about saving the extra grand and using that for excursions and the such. Take that $350 and have fun with it; a bathtub and quicker boarding isn't worth it.

Which ship were you on when you stayed in an OS? They are exceptionally fantastic.
