Sooo,

I received my 5 each / $500 cards via UPS today.

I called Carnival to pay,

They said I need to activate and have a PIN number.

WHAT???

I believed they were activated when I purchased them.

I called Verizon and got transferred twice to people that don't know what I am talking about.

So , now I will call the help number provided with the cards.

But, tell me...what happens to get them " ACTIVATED"

And what about thaat PIN number??

Please tell me how ya"ll did this..

Blessings

The PIN is under the silver scratch off area on the back. Not sure about the activate part. You can always check the balance on Carnival. There's a spot under gift cards to enter the numbers.

I just paid over the phone with GCs directly with Carnival last week. I did have to give them the PIN, but there is no "activation".

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note7 using Tapatalk. Hey, do you smell anything burning?

We used them for the first time on our CCL Sunshine cruise a couple weeks ago. We used our CC with the on-line check in. About mid-way through the cruise we went to the GS desk and they applied our Gift Cards. The balance left at the end of our cruise after our Gift Cards and OBC went on our CC on file.
