NoName Posted November 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2016 If I buy the social internet package, do I need to buy it for my husband also or can I sign out and then he sign in? How does the on-board internet handle facebook? Kim
plucasana Posted November 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2016 the packages are linked to a device (mobile, ipad etc.) so you would have to buy one package each. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
NoName Posted November 2, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted November 2, 2016 So, if we shared a tablet and logged in and out of facebook, we could share? Kim

Adelen Posted November 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2016 No video or audio tho. So you can only msg, not face time call.
mara93 Posted February 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Would I be able to upload pictures to facebook? It's such a great price.
emlet Posted February 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2017 I went with the streamer package and had a similar question - here is what they said when I emailed: The streamer package is our highest possible package you could book which allows you to connect up to 4 devices whether this be a mobile, tablet, or laptop. The package is priced at £49 and allows you access to emails, audio, and video. Limit for this package is up to 1800MBS. You will be able to use more than one device at any one time, although you would be using the same usage limit.
chinita415 Posted February 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2017 The internet package details are not on the order page. But they are all described elsewhere here... https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Already-Booked/Cruise-Upgrade/Internet-Packages.aspx

wetwash Posted July 30, 2017 #14 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Sorry I meant to say wats app Sent from my iPhone using Forums Had the social plan last week on Divina. It was helpful to keep in touch since regular texting didn't work. We all had iPhones so Imessage works if you're on their Internet. And also WhatsApp so i alternated between the two. Sometimes with iMessage it looks like it didn't go through because there's no delivered notification but the other person did see it and with WhatsApp you can tell if the person read it by the checkmarks [emoji12] We used Facebook messenger and also could post and read Facebook posts (but not view videos or open links posted on facebook). Be aware though that it shuts off after two hours so you need to repeatedly logon but still not a bad deal for $20 for the week considering the last cruises we were on we had nothing except a dry erase board or messages left on the stateroom phone!
