Has anyone tried new Marriot? rate is good and only requires 1 night

It's a "new" motel hotel and a Marriott. Try it. Know they have a transfer bus .

it has most of the thing I like, a bar and under 200, new one by me is really nice go there for happy hours often. I might try it in April

It is out past 61st and most things on Seawall . But jimmy's on the pier is close and if hotel has a happy hour that's even better. It is close to Moody Gardens also. If you have car it's close to everything anyway. If not they have a transfer bus to take you around town to restaurants and venues.

Marriott Courtyard and Town Place Suites are both on Seawall in same location.

Springfield Suites is on Broadway.

All three are Marriott related.

Does hotel provide a shuttle to take you around town or is this an Galveston island bus?
