Carnival Triumph Casino

I will be sailing in a few weeks on Triumph. This is my first cruise. I had a few questions regarding the casino on board. I know the ship itself runs on a cashless system, via the S&S cards. Can you play with cash at the casino? What happens if you are lucky enough to win...do you get the payout in cash at the casino cage or is it placed as a credit to your room? If they do payout in cash, is there a limit to which they will payout?

Yes you can use cash but you will "cash out" to your S & S card. Can always go to the cage and get cash off your card. If you win enough you still have to fill out the tax forms.

I haven't been lucky enough to see if they have a limit!....:)

So you can play with cash then either leave your "winnings" on your S&S card or go to the cage and "cash out" and they will give you the cash? Just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly lol

I'm sure I will not win as I usually am just a donor to casinos ;)

Thanks for the info

You insert your sign and sail card and follow the instructions to set up and account - leave your card in the machine in order to get credit for your play time. You can then insert cash or draw from your sign and sail account. after you play and win hopefully you can put it on the card and go to the cage to cash out that casino account (different now from your sign and sail account as it only has the money you played with on it).

Ok, so far everybody is correct about "cashing out" to your S & S card.

But if you are playing cards, craps or roulette, you simple get chips and take them to the casino cage and they will give you cash.

And that way you do not have to worry about "limits" or "tax forms" as you can just cash out as many chips at a time as you want. I have personally cashed out over $1800 at one time and was not asked at all about "tax forms".
