Spa Tour Questions??

On the first day of the cruise after we board there is always a spa tour/raffle in the Spa. I always go in hopes of winning some free spa services. When I'm walking through the tour I notice people receiving the spa services. There is someone getting a massage, facial, etc.....

Does anyone know if the people receiving the services schedule it or are chosen and get free service because they're a willing participant while people walk through on the tour? Could it just be other employees or Platinum/Diamond cruisers?

I've always been curious and just wondered about it. I of course would sign up in a heartbeat if it was a free perk!! I'd be a willing participant/subject....:)

I always assumed they were someone doing a B2B and got a heck of a discount to have their spa service on embarkation day.
