Does anyone know which pier the "Epic" will be using when they return from the trans-Atlantic on Saturday?

"SKY"

According to the PortCanaveral dot com website CT10 @ 9005 Charles Rowland

(And my CruiseDocs show that for our upcoming cruise)

According to an article in 'Florida Today' it will be CT-1 for this Saturday only, then CT-10 from then on, starting 11/19. Even tho' CT-10 is ready, NCL and the company that it uses to organize embarkations preferred CT-1 for the first week.

HA! I didn't even know that there was a "CT-1". In any case, it's not hard to find that BIG ship. THanks again to y'all for the info.

I posted the following on our cruise roll call today:

.

I saw the article yesterday as well. That could potentially suck big time.

I've been attempting to call several of my contacts at Port Authority throughout the day, but no one is in (due to Veterans Day being recognized by most/all of those offices.)

True, all any of us have to do is simply follow the signs, and park where we see this big white box that floats. Easy peasy, but . . .

If Epic is doing this one-time exception and then departing from T-10 on all future sailings, that means we will return to T-10 after our week at sea.

My car will be at T-1, and that simply ain't easy walking distance with luggage. :(

It is what it is, and will all work out eventually.

Don, I hate when that happens! I would assume that they'll offer shuttle service for you to get back to CT1, from CT10. It will really suck if they don't! As you noted, I'm going over with the assumption that they'll dock at CT1 tomorrow, even though I can't find a map that shows any easy way to get there?????

'tis very easy. ;)

You basically pass the cloverleaf loop that leads to the regular/normal cruise terminals, and take the next exit, as if going to the Victory Casino ship. You'll pass the new observation tower (will be on your left) and then you'll see the signs taking you to CT-1, Victory Casino, and Jetty Park. The road will veer to the right and you'll see the new parking garage on your left . . . but you'll probably not need to hunt for it, as that great big box will be in the background :D

Safe travels, Sky, and I hope Mrs. Jones left some good 'cruise vibes' onboard.

Just returned with the lovely, and talented Mrs. Jones. No problem finding the "Big White Boat", but the dummys at the port had the parking garage at pier 1 CLOSED! No place to park to wait for debarking passengers????? I finally drove around the cones, (don't tell anyone!) and parked till I found the lovely, and talented Mrs. Jones. Why, oh why would they have the parking garage closed on a day when a ship, with a passenger capacity of over 4,000 guests is in port???? GREAT management!

We upgraded to the Haven to avoid lines. NCL told us to arrive after 1 pm. We arrived at 1:30. We are now stuck in a line outside of the terminal along with roughly 3,000 other folks. Had we had any forewarning we would've been here much earlier. However the email explicitly stated to please arrive after 1 pm (I'm assuming because of the crew change over).

I have no problem waiting in lines. I spent 7 years in the Army waiting in lines - but the perk to skip everything was the main reason we booked the Haven. I'm not trying to seem too high maintenance, but with a little forewarning and better communication we could've planned this better. The Breakaway line in NYC was much better.
