? about spa events

I have been looking over a couple of breakaway Dailys and have seen a lot of events that say Look 10 Years younger, Lose that double chin, ect. Are they trying to sell us something? there is no asterisk beside the event which denotes a fee. What are all these event at the spa about are they worth it or are they just trying to sell us products?

Of course they are trying to sell their products and their services. You can attend the "seminar" free, and occasionally you even get to try a bit of a product. But reality, they are a waste of time while on the ship. A glorified sales pitch, often spiced up with scientific sounding words. As a biology and chemistry double major, I laugh at them.

We went to the "why your back hurts" seminar. Wasted an hour of our time. Don't bother. I don't care for the upsell that you get in the spa anyway.
