Ray66 Posted November 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2016 In Southampton it is usually the Ocean Terminal but it is sometimes the QE2 terminal. In New York it's usually Red Hook, Brooklyn but very rarely it can be Manhattan.
Rare annmarz Posted November 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2016 In October, the Queen Mary 2 docked at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.
laktex Posted November 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Could someone tell me the names / locations of the terminals for the Queen Mary in New York and Southampton. Thanks. Schedules can be found as follows, but can always be subject to change. I have disembarked QM2 at City terminal in Southampton but I think it is pretty rare. For Southampton http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/live_information/shipping_movements_and_cruise_ship_schedule/cruise_ship_schedule/ For New York https://www.nycruise.com/schedule/
Eric2005 Posted November 13, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Thanks. The Southampton website says berth 46, no terminal name. I guess any taxi driver would know. The New York website just says Brooklyn, no terminal.
pepperrn Posted November 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2016 (edited) Thanks. The Southampton website says berth 46, no terminal name. I guess any taxi driver would know. The New York website just says Brooklyn, no terminal. Hi Eric2005, If you look again, via the link that laktex was kind enough to post, you'll note the berth and terminal names listed for Southampton. But, in case of difficulty, here they are again: "38 or 38/9 berth = QEII Cruise Terminal 46 berth = Ocean Cruise Terminal 101 berth = City Cruise Terminal 106 berth = Mayflower Cruise Terminal" There is only one major cruise terminal in Redhook, Brooklyn, it is called The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. I find that, as QM2 towers over everything, she is easy to spot from some distance away. Hope this helps.
