Boarding Crown in Valpraiso

Can anyone tell me if they board by the cabin number system In Valpraiso? We are arriving with another couple at noon and we would have to wait til 4 while they could board at 1.

They didn't 2 years ago. We were checked in as we arrived. The passenger port area is a bit distance from the dock where the ship is. After checking in and getting our cruise card we were boarded on buses to board the ship. I'd suggest getting to the port early.
